I was wondering the same thing.

And I am also interested as to whether or not the Boss music glitch has been fixed in New Order mode in the PS3 version.

Is the patch EVER coming to the Xbox? I just checked, and it's still not up. This is getting weird. Any word from G. Rev?

I like it a lot. Not having to charge an Option changes things up.

Nothing since this in March:
G.Rev wrote:Please note that this update is currently planned only for the PS3 version. As addressed above, Dual Control Mode is already available for the 360. One update has already been implemented for the 360 version, so it may take time to make a second one. We do plan to do the update and ask for your patience in the meantime.

No. DC is still the superior homeport in terms of the original arcade game.

I'm sure the HD version is very enjoyable.

Here we are and still no patch for the 360 version. If I would of known I was buying a broken game I would of got the PS3 version instead.

I feel cheated!

Yeah it's pretty shoddy, although when they released a statement saying that the 360 patch would come later because it had already been patched once, I kind of thought we'd end up in this situation.

I'm not sure what the rules are but I've heard that a developer can submit one patch for free, but then have to pay for subsequent patches to be issued. If that's the case then it explains why we haven't got the patch (and probably why we never will).

They should of waited and fixed everything instead of rushing it out. PS3 has the Video setting patch fixed I do not understand why Xbox owners are getting the shaft.

It's really bad. They ought to consider patching it especially if they plan on releasing any more HD remakes of old games. This was an expensive purchase for what it is and it's probably not a good idea to piss off your potential customers when your market is already small as it is.

From going back and reading now it seems like this is Dodonpachi Dai Ou Jou Extra all over again. I just hope it has a happy ending where most of the problems are resolved. Even if it takes time.

Didn't they say they weren't planning on porting other games anyways? I guess they figured it didn't matter if they did a crap job because people would eat up the first print run anyways, hell the game is already sold out pretty much everywhere.

Also, it's SHOULD HAVE.

They said that, but with how potentially lucrative these rehashes... oops sorry remakes.... are it wouldn't surprise me if they did bang out a border down port and expect us to pay £80 for it.

Maruyama said they weren't considering any at the time (however, he was spouting something about how an HD version of BD would require a lot of consideration and programming time as they'd want to retool the game significantly... although I fail to see how adapting a 4:3 horizontal game to 16:9 is more complex than adapting a 3:4 vertical game to 16:9). As it goes with these things, the chances of seeing a Border Down HD is going to be reliant on how well UD HD sold.

We will find out something at E3 or around that time as far as announcements go.

What problems in the 360 version need to be fixed? The 4:3 issue? Anything else?

I applied the patch before playing today. I noticed some issues where some sound effects did not go into effect.

Seemed decent graphic wise.

There is a laundry list of shit that really does need fixing in the 360 port:

The rank setting glitch in Practice Mode.
The target lock-on glitch at the stage 4 boss.
The audio balancing.
The aforementioned Yoko 4:3 issues.
The score-boards not properly displaying the stage reached.
..and on and on...

Has anyone asked G.Rev recently (via twatter or whatever means people use to communicate these days) when they plan on releasing this patch?

I'd just like to know whether they are sticking to the "It will come later" line, or whether they are just ignoring the issue now that the game and it's DLC have been sold.

Interesting, thanks.

I guess we'll see if this ever materialises and what exactly the fixes they've implemented are.

Playing in Ghetto Widescreen on 4:3 is not so bad. I hope this patch drops within a decent time.

lol I got the PS3 version for this very reason as well. Even though all the next gen shooters are all for my 360 majority of them are region locked to another region :(

Might as well get a game I can easily play an another system.
