4meg games via SSF

Post by Neon »

I'm unable to get Xmen vs. Streetfighter, Vampire Saviour, or SFZ3 running on this PC, despite that I have '4meg ram cartridge' enabled in options...

They ran fine on my PC at home, though at the time I was using legit discs via pc cdrom...these are rips of those (bin/cue). I would blame it on a bad rip but all the other non-ramcart games I ripped run fine (minus emu bugs...)

I've tried to run the 4 meggers with daemon tools and nero imagedrive (after converting them to NRG's)...no dice with either. SSF acts as though they're audio cd's...gives the 'set CD+G channel' bubble instead of 'Start Application' (or running it automatically). I've also tried various recent versions of SSF.

Not that I couldn't just mame them, I'm killing time though. It's 10 pm on a Thursday...what can ya do. And I left my Saturn+games at home :/

edit: I lied a little...Xmen vs. SF loads, crashes shortly after the start of intro movie.
