Sidenote, a few months ago I met a 15 year old white kid named Darius and had to tell him that he shared the same name with a bunch of shooting games. There's something fishy about that...
Another sidenote, I wound up posting this on fb earlier in reference to a chat I was having--
"Tybay and I were talking about how the Dreamcast still has new games coming out commercially even though the console has been out of production for ten years. Tybay mentioned that he has the fishing rod peripheral, which I didn't know even existed, and most of the new games are shootemups, two of which were developed by G-Rev, which is mostly old Taito employees. Taito developed Darius, a shootemup game about giant evil fish. That means all it would take is some licensing fees, and we could all be playing a postmortem Dreamcast Darius Fishemup game. A man can dream, right?"
