Been hammering Sonic Wings 2. So close to clearing the 1st loop now.

A recent contract upgrade to an Iphone 4S has given me a whole new opinion on IOS gaming.

Bug Princess (Mushihimesama) is just fantastic, cannot stop playing this. Think i prefer it to Futari, which i'm also playing on 360 and IOS. Hoping they fix the high score issue soon.

Played some Futari on my tated CRT today and my performance dramatically improved. Set multiple new records and comfortably NMNB'ed some sections that I usually struggle with. My LCD is fairly low-lag, but apparently it's still enough to handicap me. Guess I'll be sticking to the tate setup from now on.

I recently set up a 32" CRT for tate. Making a massive difference to my Futari scores too. Be that they are stupidly low as it is anyhow

It's a good idea to play a different game for a day or two after you set a milestone at your "main game". Accordingly I am playing Omega Fighter Special, which is actually amazing. Only at 1.1m points - are there any good replays out there?

Starting to play full credits of DOJBL again. I spent some time learning everything in the second loop, so now I'm going to try to put it all together in a real run. But of course now I keep fucking up the first loop by dying on the 1-3 boss, dying on the 1-4 boss, or dropping my 1-5 chain. I'm hoping for that one lucky credit where [mostly] everything goes as planned.

The "Stage" part of Stage 4 usually kills me, but I can handle the boss pretty well.

Working on improving in Futari. Dabbling a bit in Ketsui for the first time, constant lock-on beeping is a tad annoying, heh. Aiming to get a decent clear of Espgaluda when I stop messing up perfectly good runs by smacking into something stupid.

Also need to record a non-crap score non-autobomb clear of Solid State Survivor as my old vid is like 50-60 mil less than what I can actually manage nowadays.

Galuda II time! I've pretty much never gotten to play this for more than a week at a time since it apparently had some kind of curse related to my old 360 that would cause it to have some kind of critical failure every time I wanted to play the game. This is like my second night back at it, but crossing my fingers for good luck.

Finally figuring out how to score some points on Stage 1. 28m is only a little over half of what I've seen even with Tateha, but man, it feels like I'm playing a different game now. I'm starting to feel how it all comes together, and seeing the way ahead instead of wondering how the hell I could ever learn to play this game the right way. It's gonna be a lot of work, but for the first time I'm really excited by the prospect instead of frustrated.

All this SDOJ hype got me in the mood for DFK1.5, so much fun to know I'm going to at least 1-All (strong) nearly every time I play. I'm terrible at scoring but almost made it to 2-3 on my first credit, 2 more credits to complete the 2nd loop. Not bad for having not played it in over 6 months.

Play the old version of Ketsui if you can. The lock on sound is much better.
