I know but the stream did fuck up for me anyway and then (the pcb) had restarted when I got back in. Hope its not a widespread problem or we'll have a 1.5 version by next week....

Froze again, same spot, which is just after the canyon segment leading into what looks like a tunnel.
Since I tuned in, it's crashed at the same point for all three runs to stage4 - twice when he's been playing C-E, once as B-L, so it isn't ship/type dependent.
Yeah, I'd hope that the freezing problem is just on this guy's PCB and not the whole batch. Even still, have to feel sorry for the guy being the unlucky one to get a buggered Saidaioujou PCB.

No crashing at stage4 on this stream, and the player looks a lot more skilled as well (though the video quality is quite poor despite it being 60fps).
Stage 4 looks like DFK stage5-lite. Game looks quite good fun overall.

The guy who played just know was chrono, the DFK 1.5/BL multi-WR holder.

I have hypothesized back on Cave-STG that it could be that the game freezes on stage 4 only if the player has fed credits (probably on that stage only), which wasn't the case with this guy.

Really? No wonder the movement looked a lot sharper than some random guy with a SDOJ PCB. Unlucky going out at stage5.

Certainly possible, though a very weird bug. In that case, it didn't happen at ebi_cen's stream as the board is on Free Play.

Yeah, and ISO got owned, lol. While short (it's off-air now), ebi_cen's stream was quite fun to watch, seeing how the experts feel their way in to the game, during the early days of the PCB release. You can tell they're skilled though, seeing how sharp their movements were even at this early stage.
True to form, Expert Mode looks absolutely brutal even at Rank 00, which is how it should be.

Expert looked more like an Ultra-mode than DFKBL Strong did.

Ouch, painful.

Just got back from a not-too-crowded arcade w/ the usual suspects. Definitely nobody is going to complain that it's not hard enough. I did manage to get passed the stage 4 mid-boss, but it took some work, and the score was less than awesome. Only problem w/ the difficulty is that I'm worried an easier 1.5 is around the corner.

It's fun... too bad I won't give it much time until a port.
