It did get released in Europe, I've seen it advertised. I guess it's not out in US or even Japan yet.

EDIT: And it looks like you're right about the size. Nintendo's UK site confirms that "The newly configured Wii console retains the same physical dimensions as the original Wii console". Well, that's rather pointless then.
No matter how good a game is, somebody will always hate it. No matter how bad a game is, somebody will always love it.

Even though I still love the Gamecube, the only reason I still have one is the Gameboy Player.
Since the Wii makes 480p Cube gaming possible without having to shell out ridiculous amounts for one of these rare cables.

They are pretty cool eh? I took a bit of a punt on them, but turns out they have a lot of character.

Package came in last Friday. I was out of town for most of the weekend, so I didn't get a chance to check out the stuff til tonight. Just finished unpacking, bagging and boxing. Mostly famicom stuff. Some ps2 and audio CDs.

@Skykid Only dupe in that pile is Time Zone. Did it on purpose because I found that copy waaaay below market value. It's a solid game and CIB copies are not common. Could use it for trades or something.

@zap It's part 1. Already have 2 for famicom.

Ahh.. "Revenge of the Gator"... I spent a good portion of my junior high school life at the back of bus #33 playing that gem. Good memories, but I'm not going to revisit it. I made that mistake with Goldeneye 64, and it sucks. :?

It's okay I guess... More accessible than Kirby's Pinball Land (but I haven't played many pinball games in recent years). I doubt it's aged badly the way Goldeneye 64 has. GB oldies tend to stand the test of time better than N64 ones.

Haha, you got the same Ninja-Kun game I did! Yours looks like it might even be in better shape (but mine is great, I'm not complaining). Seems to be a rare game.

Anyway, I just wanted to post that I found a copy of the Ark Area PCB for a good price, so I immediately jumped on that.

Yeah it's good stuff. I've got a lot of memories with the ninja-kun series. I've never owned this one myself, however I borrowed it a couple of times from a friend in grade school.

I too was surprised that this game is pretty uncommon.

One of the modders from SRK hooked me up with an empty Brawlstick case:

DAT ARTWORK - CAN YOU SMELL WHAT THE ROCK IS COOKING? Eheheh yeah that's gotta go.

No parts or the original PCB, but the terminal strip is still there, so should be relatively simple to wire up.

I think I might make this one for the Dreamcast ...

Best of luck with that. It took me an hour just to clean the adhesive off last night. Then actually cutting the art almost worked perfectly, though I guess I'm not perfect with a sharp object just yet.

I might suggest wrapping your new adhesive label around the edges and just making sure there are screw holes. The screws will show, sure, but your panel will probably look a lot more flush.
Why is it called the Vic Viper/Warp Rattler? Because the Options trail behind it in a serpent-like fashion, and the iconic front fins are designed to invoke the image of a snake's fangs.

Didn't have too much trouble most of the artwork off, will probably need a Dremel with a wire wheel to get the rest.

I might actually just paint the metal panel instead of doing artwork, I haven't really decided yet.

I did find a Mad Catz 6-button Dreamcast pad on eBay really cheap, apparently the joystick doesn't work? WHO CARES!

Apparently lighter fluid is great for removing glue and it evaporates so nothing to clean up.

When this first came out on the NES, I was super super disappointed that it wasn't the same as the arcade version. But after a while I grew to love it, it's a pretty awesome game. Really similar to Bionic Commando in overall structure, but a bit more polished presentation.

A fat book and a cool doll, both purchased after trips to the arcade. Anime girl merchandise is not normally my thing but I just really fucking love Asuka okay.

Nice! What pedals do you have there?

When you do come down to Cali, bring that amp! I have a 7pc drumset just sitting here, never have anyone to jam with.
