The game is... well... not bad I'd say. Seems the Type-X games lack a certain amount of detail... especially in the backgrounds. If Raiden III had a bit more going on in the backgrounds it would be lovely... it doesn't though, so looks a little too simple. Homura seems to suffer this as well. I'm not a graphics whore though, so willl probably pick it up.

Dave, I just did a quick search because I was looking for videos too and came up with this;
http://www.shmup.com/?id=77
2 videos on there. I think the game looks pretty cool, although I know nothing about it outside of those videos.

I dunno, the explosions in Raiden III do look pretty detailed; with pieces flying all over, ala Raiden II and DX.GaijinPunch wrote:The game is... well... not bad I'd say. Out of all the new releases this one interested me the most - glad it's getting ported.

Looks intersting. Heard the title before but also knew nothing of it. I'm not crazy about Psyvariar, but I own it. I'm sure I'll pick this one up at some point as well.
Anyone know the mechanics of it? I thought the attract feature worked kind of like ZG2 at first, but then noticed it definitely did not. Bonuses fly toward you, but I'm not understanding why they do or do not sometimes.

It's being reported that Homura on PS2 will be playable at TGS, so we should hopefully have an idea of the quality of the port soon.
