Nonsense. I'm just boozing it up because I haven't quite gotten to the point where I still feel like I'm floating a bit even after I fall into bed. Yeah, that's it.

At least I get to stay at Mandalay Bay for the actual show setup, even if I won't have any free time to take advantage of the more luxurious amenities or fuck around on The Strip.

Just wanted to mention that Saints Row 3 (haven't played the other 2) is becoming my favorite drunk game. You can trash this title all you want, but while probably utterly failing to be a good game for sober people, it is everything that was great about GTA3: San Andreas, and then cranked the fuck way over the top. Even driving (and I hate the driving in GTA4) is a complete pleasure, especially when you upgrade your cars so they can take all kinds of abuse, than pilot them around on nitro like that goddamn rocket car at the beginning of Buckaroo Bonzai and smashing the shit out of everything.

I have my own nugget of wisdom to share:

Scotch, and only Scotch - no other type of booze, eliminates migraines. For me, it works without fail. Different people have different migraine triggers, but all I need is a bottle of J&B and perhaps some porn. Even if my migraine cure program is somewhat sleazy, it has the advantage of actually working, which can't be said of modern pharmacology.

I dreamed I had a neglected fish tank, which included: 2 exotic fish, 1 adolescent alligator, 1 large snake, several snails, and 1 full-grown turkey. The turkey was able to breathe underwater. Eventually I removed the turkey (since it was past its gestation period) to live on dry land. The alligator somehow found a pair of my father's parachute workout pants and tried to eat it, without success. The snake was actually wearing the pants, but did not retaliate against the alligator. I couldn't find any mice or rats, so I took some pieces of the turkey (which my grandmother meanwhile killed and cooked for dinner) and fed it.
