Where to find this part? "top entry" coin slot

Post by rCadeGaming »

Does anyone know of a good place to buy a "top entry" coin slot. I don't need a mech, just the actual metal bezel thing for the slot, looking for a simple square one that does not have a reject plunger/button/whatever for use in a candy-style cabinet I'm building.

This is what I'm talking about:

or

http://www.happmart.com/Pro_Details.asp ... =13&sid=45

The problem with these sights is that the first one has a $200 minimum order and the second one has a minimum order of 100 pcs (I'm assuming that MOQ means minimum order quantity?). Also it doesn't say what size coins will fit it in, I'll probably use .984 tokens and US quarters.

Does anyone know of a better place to get these? I've been looking on Google, Google Shopping, eBay, GroovyGameGear, Paradise Arcade, Akihabarashop.jp, etc. with no luck.

I'm also looking for the coin microswitches with the wire actuator, but it looks like I can order those directly from Happ if necessary.

Are you specifically looking for Chrome? 'Cause Andy Geezer has some white ones still for sale (he's sold out of the chrome unfortunately):

Chrome/stainless steel would be best for me. I should also mention that I want to use .984 inch tokens and US quarters, and that I need two of these.

I was about to email Andy Geezer about getting the chrome ones back in stock, but then I noticed that they're 20GBP (~$32US, plus shipping to US for me) each, and cut for fat UK coins. Thank you for the link though, I hadn't heard of that store before, always good to have a list of them.

Any other ideas?
