I remapped the controls via an
adapter . Works really well on a standard 2 player panel, although I did have to change the sticks to 4-way for best control.

Took it long enough to arrive:
Serial #0304, which according to my knowledge of NG:Dev's numbering system means this is the fourth Gunlord MVS cartridge. That's kind of cool.
No matter how good a game is, somebody will always hate it. No matter how bad a game is, somebody will always love it.

My latest purchase on YAJ, a nice CPS1 "The King Of Dragons" jpn board in pretty shape with original arts & copied manual. Got this set for 8000 Yen (+ various fees), which I think is a decent deal. Just removed the original battery and replaced it with a convenient CR2032 battery holder. Good 'ol memories with this one

I've held off on buying new PCBs for about three months now, in the interest of saving some money.
You lot and yours lovely knew purchases are making me despise my own frugality. I want a board!

Nice one. Like this game, it has a real "asterix"-feel to it.

Yeah, normally I don't like cartoon adaptation that much, but Konami always put a lot of effort and detail into them, including this one. It really does feel like you're playing an Asterix comic book.

All these pics of the Gunlord carts have me first salivating and then wondering if my measly DC copy will ever arrive.
Decided to hassle the NGDev guys.
For anyone else in the same boat, here was the reply:
Hello,
the original game Gunlord for MVS was just recently completed, the
Dreamcast port is scheduled for May,June.
The reprint of Fast Striker and Pink Bullets are tied to the Gunlord
release and will be shipped together.
Sorry for the delays.

Hermosaguy's pic isn't showing for me
I'm not buying anything till this summer, unless something on the cheaper side appears that I can't resist.
