I was until now using a very low quality chinese rgb cable for my ps2 which gave me a horrible amount of interference due to a totally unshielded cable and a horrible solder-job.
So i searched for the best rgb cable for the ps2 that was available for me and found this one :
http://www.qed.co.uk/132/gb/product/per ... _cable.htm
For 10 bucks it seemed to be quite the steal and looked quite solid.
Well until i unpacked it. First of all i looked at the sony playstation connector :

It looks like someone chewed on it. Nearly every pin is bent and the last few even sticked to each other

Well now for a picture test :
QED cable :

Generic chinese one :

Just look at the fill on those small squares....
Again Qed cable :

Chinese one :

Wow. Totally incredible. So i started googling for these cables and of course the first info i found was that someone claimed them to be composite only.
So i took out my multimeter and well - all rgb lines aren't connected ! That's absolutely ridiculous.
I mean i understand that composite is definitely more user friendly and works with more tv's but any generic cable has both so the tv can choose the best solution by itself. Why someone would waste a half-inch thick cable to send a crappy composite singnal is an absolute mistery for me.
But yes - there is definitely less interference right now due to the super-shielded cable

I'm totally trying to send this piece of shit back and demand my money.
