Espgaluda battery

Hi every one I'm new here,

And I'm just wondering 
1. if you take the battery off a espgaluda pcb will it lose value .

2. Can you Replace the battery any time. Or do you have a 1/2 hour window to change it Like the cps2 ?

Hi, welcome to the Hardware section - aka the only sane part of this forum.

1. No. Especially if it's about to leak acid on the PCB.
2. Yes, only DOJ BL stops working without a battery in place. It can be resurrected using hacked roms now though.
