Hello.
I'm looking at purchasing a Blast City cab from Matsu, and I'm wondering how I would go about placing my Dreamcast into the cab. What kind of adapter is needed? Also, how do I make the control panel work with the Dreamcast?
Thanks for your help.

The only thing you have to worry about is modding the controllers. You have to solder some wire on the controllers PCBs to make some adapters with AMP connectors (or a jamma connector depending on where you prefer the controllers to be in your cab) it's really not that difficult though. The rest is pretty much nothing, get a VGA box and you're ready to go. The Toshiba/Nanao of the Blast City is perfectly compatible with the VGA signal of the Dreamcast and you can easily mod your VGA box to output RGB 15htz if the game you want to play isn't VGA box compatible (like Gunbird 2). I think there is a tutorial somewhere, let me get back to you.

Would'nt the Dreamcast MGCD or clone alike be the best option.

A VGA box + PAD hacks or a couple of Multi-Console Cthulhu's will be best as the Multi-Console Cthulhu's can be used for many other consoles with ease. Info thread: http://shoryuken.com/forum/index.php?th ... vor.46572/ Buy from Toodles directly: http://godlikecontrols.com/

be careful...I bought a NAC from him that turned out to have a broken (but repairable) chassis.WedgeAntilles wrote: I'm looking at purchasing a Blast City cab from Matsu...

Hello.
So I got the cab! It looks great. Thanks for all of the advice. I'm also thinking it would be nice to move from a Dreamcast to a Saturn. How do I make the change? I've talked to somebody about controller hacks, so I should be good there.
Thanks.
