Run N Gun

Much as I love saving the universe in a spaceship, I'm very partial to my Run n' Gunners.

I recently got Gunners Heaven for the PSone. Absolute class game. Can be a little frustrating at times, but the game is great and the graphics are lovely. Currently stuck on the level 3 train boss.

In between bouts of Blazing Star, I'm currently also battling through all six Metal Slugs. Not much I can say about the series that hasn't been already said. Great series.

And that's all the RnGs I have. I'm currently wanting to get a MD/MCD set-up for all the shmups, but also Alien Soldier, Contra:HC and (of course) Gunstar Heroes.

So, all you RnG lovers, what are you currently playing ATM? Any games you can recommend? Is Demon Front on PGM any good?

I couldn't stand Gunners Heaven. The shooter level just killed it for me (I'm not one for bastardized multi-genre games) and I found no part of the game very inspiring.

I do like Gunstar Heroes, Contra Hard Corps, Silhouette Mirage (US version; JP version is far too easy), and most Mega Mans.
