I simply cannot watch this montage without getting misty eyed.

Watch it through - you'll see.

Edit: I just watched it and cried.

God, how could I forget?

Two of the more depressing Leonard Cohen songs. Every time I listen to "Seems So Long Ago, Nancy" I get in such a somber, dreadful mood. I will never see such a good concert again after seeing Leonard Cohen. Shame he doesn't play these songs anymore, though--but for good reasons, I'd say.

First song I ever cried to. Great great song, even better live.

Probably "Self-Inflicted Stagnation" by Adamantium or "My Life As A Bridge" by Kid Gorgeous. And of course the song everyone knows from Adelle...

Toss up between http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Dci1iet9kc and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WBwSzSM0C-M

The lyrics always bring a tear to my eye when I think about what passes for popular music nowadays or that people are actually stupid enough to do some of those things. :'(

A challenger appears: Tim Minchin - White Wine in the Sun

(happy/sad/melancholy might depend on whether your family actually manages to get together for Christmas or whatever else)
