Brawlstick Mods

Post by Markybhoy »

I recently ordered a Brawlstick because it was cheap due to a sale and wanted to use this as a dedicated shmup stick.
I was wondering what stick and buttons people would recommend for this?

In the past I have tried Sanwa OBSF-30 buttons but didn't like them as they were to soft, I would like something more clickier/stiffer.

Should I be looking at Seimitsu parts ?

Thanks

Seimitsu buttons are excellent for shmups, but SANWA RG's are quite close. I can also recommend an LS-58-01 stick. Get the octo gate and some extra springs (LS-55, LS-56) directly so you can find your own "sweet spot" resistance.

If you want stiffer buttons, you could go with Happ stuff, but I'm not sure the Brawl sticks are large enough to accomodate them.

Alternatively, you might be able to change the springs or switches in the stock buttons or whatever else you decide to go with.

Thanks I'll check those out.
