Probably the world as we know it but I would prefer only the west.

Ian Abercrombie (Mr. Pitt from Seinfeld, among other roles) passed away on the 26th at age 77.

I've been watching season 6 of Seinfeld recently, so I was surprised to read this. Sad to see him go.

Mike Bernardo, boxing champion, K-1 legend, and one of my favorite fighters of all time, has died at the age of 42.

Rumor has it he committed suicide. This sucks. :(

Anyone interested should check out youtube for his wars with Peter Aerts, Andy Hug, and Jerome Le Banner.

Ralph McQuarrie, the art designer of Star Wars, passed away yesterday at the age of 82.

Star Wars wouldn't have been the same (and may not have existed at all) without his talent and vision. RIP.

"Burn, baby, burn!" sang James T. Ellis of The Trammps, in the hit song, Travolta vehicle, and Macho Man theme song, Disco Inferno. He was 74 and reportedly suffered from Alzheimers. His death was announced yesterday.

Bottom right of this photo. Story here.

I only really knew of Moebius via his contribution to and influence on the Panzer Dragoon games, but I really appreciated him for that. Sorry to hear he's gone.

Sadness. Moebius was a brilliant visionary :(

Moebius is a huge loss. I should probably finally get around to watching Les Maitres du Tiemps.

The man was always photographed with a cigarette--sadly, I guess it finally caught up to him.

Big loss. :(

That guy pretty much designed Panzer Dragoon too:

Its kind of interesting to me that more people have reacted to Moebius` passing than Ralph McQuarrie`s a few days earlier. Both were major influences on sci-fi and nerdkind from around the same era, but no one said anything about McQuarrie.

For the record, I`m more of a Moebius fan, but I respect what McQuarrie did for the genre.

McQuarrie died too!

I didn't know, I loved his stuff, there wouldn't be any Star Wars without him.

Man, this week sucks for dead people. :(

RIP
