i'm not really sure how will it plays, but i think this guy got really interesting visual style going on here ,all hand-drawn in ink (!) sprite and in pretty good taste (imho). The L/R weapon custom system kinda reminds me of Slypheed. go check it out while you get a chance!

wow , he's pretty serious about this , the gameplay is ok so far but i start to really like the art now

Yep. Looks like he got a bit of influence from Diseased Productions' idea of a shmup (see Bitshift, Blueshift and Redshift), which frankly makes it all the much worse.
