My thoughts on some of the games at the show:

Rajiruki: Very pretty and colorful. It shows promise. It is a vertically scrolling game, unlike Chaos Field. If you don't like cell-shading, pass it up, obviously. You do have a saber though (like Chaos Field) which seems to be an intrical part of the game, as well bullets and shit. Pretty cute stuff.

Under Defeat: I only looked at briefly. Two words and a number -- Zero, Gunner, and 2. It looks very similar at first glance, but I was too tired to give it a shot, although I watched it for a bit.

I got one of them from the show along with that blinking charm. The yo-yo sucks compared to the charm which still sucks but on a much lesser scale. Don't feel bad not having it. The only way you'd know that yo-yo was from Cave is by a little piece of paper stuck to it that says Puzzle Mushi Hime Tama. The flashing amulet at least had a small metal attachment that read ESPGaluda II on it. I think the best thing Cave gave out was probably the psuedo-pornographic paper dress-up doll for Puzzle Mushi Hime Tama.

GP: I got to play Under Defeat and it really plays much differently than ZG2. There is no rotating mechanic to it and the controls felt looser and somewhat unstable. You could pick one of two ways for your heli to move. I didn't get to pick reversed but normal just felt weird. Maybe it was because I was expecting a control scheme close to ZG2 and didn't get it. Still, the game looked promising.

Yeah, I know... I really should've given it a shot. Was pretty damn tired, and not very patient at this point. Remember, I just got off an 8 hour flight...even if I did have the best seat on the plane (which I did).

Why are there two yo-yo balls hanging off the cannon? I thought it looked phallic enough before. Did they really need to add those?
