This is a simple and small short shmup. The goal is score as much as possible before the countdown. You add more time whilst destroying things. The website has online scoreboards. Feel free to post your scores
I tried it out, it's extremely frustrating to have your main shot run out of power and have to let go and push the fire button again. What's even the point of this mechanic? It feels like it was added for the sole reason of annoying players .. >_>
The 'Burst' ability you get seems pretty useless to be honest. Getting too close to the enemies is dangerous since they move so fast and can easily run into you.
Hi!
Thanks for trying it! Sorry about the firing ratio. I have uploaded a new version.

That's the risk you take to get more points. But once you see how the enemy stream moves it is not dangerous.

Do the sound options appear greyed out? It's usually a matter of updating your DirectX version. I use DirectX for input and audio... Hope that fixes the problem. Let me know, otherwise.
Yes, sound options are grey'd out at 0%. I have DirectX 9.0c installed. which matches the requirement stated on your download page. Anyway, not a big deal to me.
Yes, it seems like you still need a DirectX update though. I developed Time Extended with DirectX 9c (4.09.00.0904) installed. However, they released monthly updates until June 2010 whithout changing version number. Bit confusing. It seems like March 2008 version has the audio system I use (XAudio2). Give it a try. I hope it resolves the issue.
Sorry for the inconvenience
I will update the website with this information in case some one else has the same issue.
