Gradius Deluxe

just got the pack yesterday, and i love it to bits (as i knew i would).

its giving me stomach pains though. i suck at it something awful, as i always have when i get my hands on a "new" gradius.

currently can't clear the ice boss in Gofer, or stage 4 in Gradius (the inverted stage 1). looking forward to inching my way through them though.

after some more play time just wanted to say gradius was a mean bastard in his youth. still can't clear stage 4 of gradius, and stage 4 of gofer is quite the little bitch.

Yeah, stage 4 is really brutal. just soooo many bulletts flying your way. all I can say is get the shield, and that you MIGHT want to switch to double for this stage. Same is true for the similar one in gradius 2 as well.
