I would expect, with the way its worded, that the game is going to be difficult, especially in survival. I mean, scoring is difficult in all recent (or all) Cave games, so if he made a point to specify, I think its gonna be tough as nails.

This is a good question. I mean, I really hope so, but it seems possible that they may want to shift the competitive scene over to the Vita. I can't imagine they think that will work completely though, so maybe this will still see an arcade release. I don't know, just talking out of my ass.

As the game is only 70%, of course there are more characteristics to be implemented on the way.

Hope they aren't lyin' about the game scoring being based on difficulty and enemies, and therefore hopefully not so much on exact placement and chaining (barf). The "chain" will be constructed from just keeping up pressure on the enemies, I hope, so you do not lose opportunities to score (each moment not taken advantage of = not just that much score differential for that moment, but maybe a corresponding, i.e. proportional, loss of score at the endgame?).
