Though I have little faith in either of the games, I will buy both of them.

I wonder if the shmup is going to incorporate the touch screen, or is it going to function solely off the d-pad/sticks?

Well, Vita games arent too expensive, plus I want to see the company do well. Even if im not really contributing as much as i'd like to. At least they are expanding their software to more consoles. I have to give them props for that.

If a company makes something you like, buy it. If they make something you don't like, you don't need to feel bad about not putting dinner on their plate. If you're rich, make a personal donation. If you're not, remind yourself we're in a serious economic crisis and keep the change in the bank.

I did see the topic where it has been previously talked about, just figured since the US launch of the vita there would be a little more publicity on the topic, as well as some more news to follow up with it.

I've never understood how it's at all comfortable to play a handheld in TATE mode. Well I actually don't get the whole appeal of playing a shmup without an arcade stick or saturn pad either.

I can imagine the Vita is a lot easier to play in tate than the PSP was seeing how it has an analog stick next to the buttons. Though I'm still not going to buy a Vita after the bullying Sony did to Geohot.

Since I have too much money (though not enough for a SDOJ PCB, lol), I'd probably buy Shirotsuku and never play it if they localized it.
