The screenshot has me sussed, but nice find! I'll give this a shot and let you know whether you should be eating your words about Broken Thunder or not.

EDIT: Yes, you should be eating your words.

Thunder Force + Touhou = not impressed.

In all seriousness though I might give this a crack in a few days but I wouldn't be calling it a TF doujin. At least it worked on my machine without issues.

It's by the guy who made Storm Caliber and it first came out for PC-98 but there's a 2000 release for PC.
This actually is good (as are SRX's other games which I'm just discovering).
To get proper display in fullscreen run in both 256-colors and 640x480 modes.

Yeah that silhouette looks both alien and erotic at first glance. Thunder Faith has beautiful scrolling and the day/night of level one remnds me of Arrow Flash.

Looking into Storm Calibur and the dodging/grazing score attack trainer... sound effects sure change hands a lot in the underground...

Will check these ones out mjclark. I nearly bumped this thread just to shit on Thunder Faith even more (it gets worse in the later stages), but these are good.
