Anyone own a DVDO Edge and PS3 who can run a test for me?

For anyone who owns a DVDO Edge and PS3 and has a chance, could you please switch the PS3 to HDMI output and select LPCM 7.1 48khz v.i system audio settings, next play a game like Super StarDust HD, WarHawk, or StarHark with them set to 7.1 audio mode (all demos), then last open the Edge's information tab for audio and see if the audio is from the PS3 is listed as 48khz with 16bps (bits per sample) or 24bps (bits per sample)?

I have said components but I don't have a HDMI/7.1 amp, does that matter?

Hi, thanks. You would not need an amp, just a PS3, HDMI cable, an EDGE, and a display to view the Edge's audio information menu.
