I adore light-gun games, by the way Illyrian. I'd love to 1CC some, so let me know what you're playing, and I'll fire the same up when I'm at home (I have pretty much all of them) so we can nerd on about tactics and stuff when we're at the arcade.

I really want to 1CC Time Crisis 2 (I can get to the final boss), Ghost Squad and House of the Dead 2 or 3.

Anyway - anybody down Casino tonight?

I'm currently playing:

Deadstorm Pirates (playing purely for score now the 1cc is easy)
House of the Dead 3 (working on a 1cc)
Razing Storm (working on a 1cc)
Time Crisis 4 (not really playing, rubbish at it atm)

When House of the Dead 4 comes out all of my attention will be on playing that most likely, been waiting 5 years for a chance to play it.

Check your PM for some other info I don't want to spam the thread with.

Gonna look into Ghost Squad, as I don't know that one.

Edit: Ghost Squad is on the Wii huh? I've had one experience with Lightgun games on the Wii and it was atrociously innacurate to the point of unplayability, probably due to the large size of my housemates LCD TV. If I could get it calibrated properly I would definately give that a go as I played the game in the arcade a few times and it was really good fun.

I'll happily help you both on any game, I get a lot of questions about the games from others, and I actually know you two :P
Just fire away!

On Razing Storm, I recommend to never continue, as it messes up the time it takes for enemies to shoot, also the speed increases quite a lot at Stage 3-2, so be careful from then on.
Ghost Squad on the Wii isn't great, but its better than nothing, maybe I should stream playing that someday?
The Unknown? I'm the one who knows!

I spent all day in a loft organising boxes.

I will try to make it down over the next couple days. I have a bunch of manga that I found that folks are welcome to if they want, otherwise it's going to the charity shop.

In english:

Crying Freeman (graphic novel)
AD Police (graphic novel)
Mai the Psychic Girl vol.1 (graphic novel)
3X3 Eyes House of Demons (graphic novel)
Shadow Lady (3 x comics)
Ghost in the Shell 2 (embossed cover comic)
Usagi Yojimbo (comic)

And some others that escape me right now.

Also hzt, I have few Yu Yu Hakusho GN's in Japanese & a Dragon Ball, and a guro manga called Happy People (also in Japanese) if you're interested?

+ does anyone still watch anything on VHS? I'm going to junk all my anime OAV's including Bubblegum Crisis/Crash and shit ton of others unless someone wants them.

I always have time for random guro manga but I'm out of town right now, so thanks for the offer but I won't take you up on it.

JDE might be interested for his Japanese study? Learning from guro is surely the best way.

I'm not actually that keen on most guro stuff, although reading practice with manga is definitely fun - really enjoying Cromartie High School in Japanese at the moment. Here's something which I think we can all appreciate though (a masterpiece of Engrish):

Will anyone be down tonight?

Spadgy, I'm not sure if I have Honneamise on VHS, but it is a possibility. I'll check for you dude. Are you interested in anything else?

I can be there tonight with a bumper bag of stuff from which to pick and choose, otherwise tomorrow evening?

I'm on my way back tonight, if anyone's around, I'll be meeting Chi in Casino at 6-ish. My mobile battery is dead so I'll either check back here or catch you there if you make it.

Great news CHI. Remember to nose about for those DOJ screws in a bit of tape (I'm almost certain I have them somewhere at home, but just in case...).

Also, while I was playing OutZone on Tuesday, did I hear you lot talking about posing for a re-enactment of the Deathsmiles 'bath scene'?

I'm away next week in San Francisco, so you can do it then!
