iPod Touch (or other touch screen) Game Recommendations

Hi All,

I'm working on a vertical shooter at the mo, targetting PC and Mac initially. It's going to be free with an option to throw me the price of a coffee if you like it.

I am considering porting to touch screen devices (iPod/iPhone, iPad, Android) and want to get a feel for the games out there.

At present, all of my gaming is PC based (I still have an old PS2 but haven't used it in some time). Most of my shoot em up experience is from ancient home computers and arcade games with a few modern PC vertical shooters thrown in.

I'm looking for some good games to play on my iPod Touch - hope you guys can point me in the right direction. iPad or Android suggestions are also good, as I will be investing in those at some point.

Your opinions on touch screen control methods are also appreciated.
