How the FUCK are you supposed to beat this thing? I just spent nearly an hour trying to get past the first level, and the boss constantly pwns me. I'm shooting the arms as much as I can, but I never get them off before the timer runs out and then I die within seconds.

Still, a very cool game. Great style, interesting concept, and...er...hard enough.

Read the rest of the thread, that's how I figured it out: you've got to do more than just shoot in order to deplete the boss's life meter in time.

PoFV with a friend PWNS, but, i dont know, i've played more Hitogata Happa and Gensou Shoujo than PoFV, since, the only mode i like to play PoFV its with a friend (waitin til ZUN releases the Internet Play mode patch).

a couple hours ago, i was playin this one in TATE on a 17" monitor ... and THAT SH!T KIX AZZ ... MAN!!... i completly loved that! ... it reminded me that SnS2 has a TATE mode aswell, and so i had to try it ... facing Shintaro Kuga in TATE was AWESOME!!...

about Hitogata, sure its ahrd, but, when u get used to it, u just know what to do, when to do it, and which doll to use ... im loving level 3 in practice mode, need to practice some more to unlock the other levels yet, but im ENJOYIN this one ... too bad, i barely have time to paly it ... i have played it only 90 mins so far ... need more practice (the bosses are pwinin me with the time thing... u CANT let the time run out or ur DEAD!).

OK, the first few times I fought against the boss I tried ramming into it but I died for some reason so I assumed you were supposed to kill off the arms with your main shot. Actually, one time I was just frustrated and decided to suicide, and it turns out I did it perfectly. Next attempt I beat it. So, I think I'll be getting the full version of this.

I'd like to see a replay of "Doomsday" mode. Even the first level is crazy, I can't imagine the second

TomTom: You have to stay alive long enough to let a certain meter on top of the screen fill up, I think you hear a tone when it does. Once the meter's full, then if you ram an enemy you'll suicide into the bomb; if the meter's not full (or you hit a bullet instead of an enemy) then you just kinda die, heh.

Yep, I got it down. I got the full version of this game off some site, which I won't name, has a lot of illegal things like anime rips and ISOs, but I'm sure I'll wind up buying it soon, as I like it more and more. It's one of the best and most unique Doujins I've ever played.

Anyone beat the third boss? I got it down to its last form, but getting close enough to ram it would be...difficult.

Do you really need to post where you got your illegal copy? Keep it to yourself.

Hey does anyone have any good replays on the hardest mode? They save them to your /replay folder.

I'm sure you guys are skilled enough to put out some flashy shooting :)

Sorry, I wasn't thinking when I did it, but it's a pretty well known site that took about 30 seconds to find and I didn't think anyone would take offense to it.

too many ppl takes offense by that kinda things here...... and, even tho, it took you 30 secs on findin it, not everybody its capable of that, thats why we wanted you to keep it for yourself... now, the damage its done, but, dont worry, theres a lot more places like that hehehe .... enjoy the game anyway.

Sooooo, has anyone figured how where you can actually buy this outside of Japan? I've looked around, but none of the Japanese sellers will sell outside of Japan.

A real shame. I loved loved loved the demo, and this could've been a good one for online delivery.

P.S. Hi! Long time lurker, new time poster.

Well, like many doujin game developers, Murasame releases his games first at the biannual Comic Market events, waits for bug reports to come in, then makes another pressing for doujin shops about a month later. Hitogata Happa is just taking a while to make the transition. So Japanese players are actually in pretty much the same fix; it can't be found except secondhand right now. Looking at his diary, it seems like it'll be widely available soon, so give it a couple more weeks to start showing up in the usual places (Himeya and maybe PaletWeb).
