My thoughts on Shmups

The kind of Shmups that are my favorites are Thunder Force, Blazing Lazers, Dragon Spirit, Fantasy Zone, Life Force (I love the second one alot), as well as a few others. One of my favorite game series is Zillion though for Sega Master System. Triformation kinda relates to Shmups a bit. You can not only ride a motorbike and shoot but also you can fly with it and shoot with sidescrolling. Not many people like it but I think its really cool. Although the first Zillion is kinda my favorite.

Zillion isn't a shooter... and I didn't like the blocky controls anyway. Now, the Zillion anime was a classic. Seen it?
