Speaking of which, I heard there's a russian billionaire funding an entire Eve corp all by himself. Lolz.

Its probably true, the Russians ran over half of 0.0 (player owned space) when I played, they would then rent it out to other corps and rake in the cash.

Eve does seem to attract the the type of ppl who are successful in life due to the fact its highly capitalistic and has deep meta gaming

The most fun I ever had playing games online was Descent 3... that was on ISDN. I never want to admit it to myself but I will never enjoy games online like that again.

SCHTHACK isn't huge, but afaik the biggest PSOBB server still running (hey and it's free, too).
There's like 150-400 players on there most of the time.

On topic - I bought Guild Wars (a boxed copy) and played it for a while, but it seemed like yet another Diablo clone rather than a MMO.
