The story of DonPachi/DoDonPachi

I was reading the DonPachi wiki for fun today.... And got to thinking... I know absolutely nothing about the story of this series. Anyways, is there like a site or a good write up/reading on the actual story spanning the series?

Wikipedia outlines it in what I assume is a complete and correct manner. Pretty dark stuff for the type of game it is, esp DonPachi with its... unique voice over. Reminds me a little of Ender's Game.

Oh, ok. I wasn't sure if the Wiki sources were correct or even adequet. I've been on a DonPachi/Dodonpachi kick for the longest time and would like to understand the story behind them all... makes it much more worthwhile/interesting. Thanks.

The PAL DFK manual goes over the story and characters of that game in English pretty in-depth.

Why do you skip the ending scenes but care about the story? At least read it once, takes all of a minute out of your time. Anyway since you have the iOS ports, just read the stories they have typed up in the history section.
