DonPachi Service Menu

Post by Camp »

Hey! I got a DonPachi Jap board recently and it's the first PCB game I've ever owned. I'm wondering how to get into the service/game menu where the options are for difficulty, credits, etc. I have a Neo Geo candy cab and I'm running the board through an adapter (link). I tried setting the adapter jumpers so the game select button on the CP would function as the service button, but it just makes it add credits. I also found this instruction manual for the board (link) that says there is a test button on the board that I need to hold down for 4 seconds. I don't have the board in hand and can't check it until Friday, but I don't remember seeing a button on the board itself. Thanks for looking at my post.

the button's there. it's a small tact switch in one of the corner's of the board if I remember right.

If you have at least 5 buttons on the panel, try to press the 5th button down for a few seconds! ;)
