It might just be because they have received info that their previous listing was incorrect (which it was). ShopTo has also had it as TBA for some time now since the whole JoWood thing fell through.

Seemingly DTP have got the rights, but until they make a proper announcement this all counts for nothing like so many of the other potential releases this game was going to have.

so… today I got a email form dtp.

It says:
Der Releasetermin ist noch nicht sicher und deshalb halten wir uns mit einer Ankündigung bisher zurück. Keine Ahnung, welcher Spatz den guten Leuten von Amazon den 30.03 gepfiffen hat

That means:
The release date is not certain yet and because of that we hold back the announcement for now. I have no clue who told the amazon staff the release date would be the 30th of march

It sounds good but I would love to see a definite release date so it does not end up like the TRADEWEST fiasco, well atleast this gives them time to create a decent trailer.

Which date are we talking about here... the March 30th date? That date seems odd because it's a Friday and games usually come out on Wednesday in Europe (Friday in the UK).

We'll have to see if more listings start to update as we get closer to that date. We are assuming of course that it's getting a Europe-wide release, although can't see any reason why it would only be for Germany.

I'm with you there Plankytrousers. I'll believe it and order (and even import if I must) when I actually hear people getting this and no delaying crap like with Trade*less*west but until then I remain cynical.

wow just wow after all this time time with delays and release dates that came and went, just please dont get us all excited for a release date then delay again, we need these shooters as it seems like these could be the last ones, theres akai katana for pal, and under defeat out in japan now just released, what next after these few amazon.de do ship to the uk as i bought crash time 4 from them last year as the game only came out in germany!!!!

Actually, me too. WOG usually is quite reliable with the publishing dates. If they don't get a fixed date from their distributors, they don't publish a date. I hope that at the end of the month we'll know for sure.

Btw, WOG also has most of the region-free shmups for sale, if they're still available. I just recently ordered an Esp II BL platinum from them for CHF 49.-. It arrived one day after ordering at my doorstep, freely shipped.

Right, well any release is better than no release and it at least seems they are committed to that date in those countries which is good. Of course I'd rather buy it from the UK, but if it's gonna come later or potentially not at all then I'll just buy it from amazon.de at the end of April; by which point it should be obvious if a simultaneous UK release is going to happen.
