Brendz and I should be rolling in around 2 PM Friday so we will find our way to Logan's from there.

Probably have to stop for some beerz after the 13 hour bus ride though

And I am not going to bring Guwange, simply because I don't want customs poking and prodding the board. Sorry.

See you guys in a week or so 8)

No problem about not bringing Guwange - totally understandable. And let me know what station you guys are arriving at in the city and I'll give you all directions to Logan. Easy to get to from public transit. See you in a week! :D

I got a city map app for chicago on my phone and I have your place and Logan's marked. Should be fine. Looking at the map it looks like the nearest transit station to your place is Belmont, ya? Not too clear on the different color lines

Worst comes to worse, depending where the bus lets us off, Brendz and I can just hop in a cab to Logan's and then we will be in the neighborhood.

Gah, I need to talk to the Michiganders again. They never post here anymore, but some of them expressed interest on Facebook.

I also need to brush up on Twinkle Star Sprites... as defending champ, the pressure is on!
I havent posted in a while and I dont see my hubby confirming it but we will also be there likely Saturday. We will be getting a room after last years fiasco driving home and nearly ending up as roadkill LOL.
It’s almost over. It’s just begun.

well, upon discussion with the wife, it looks as if we will be in attendance for Saturday…

I can bring along my Japanese Xbox 360 and the games I have…

not sure what else I could contribute? I'll have my Lynx for my personal play…

I really haven't been playing alot of 'newer' games for a while, I'm pretty much just playing pre-crash games these days, with the occasional NES, SMS, TG-16, and Jaguar in the mix… I am well aware there is no interest in these things, but I have alot of console shooters, if there is anything someone has an interest to play, mention it and I'll look if I can bring it along (as well as any necessary console)

see everyone Saturday!

Linda will be around Friday from 3pm onward, so if you are planning on coming into town and staying with me from Friday, you can drop your gear off first at my place and then meet me over at Logan.

Also - if you need my address, pm me and I will shoot you details this week. I will be setting up the backroom at Logan all week - bringing over the last of the Astro cabs tonight and tables, chairs, snacks, drinks, gear all this week.

I can finally confirm my attendance. What's the list of PCB's and whatnot look like so I know what to bring.

edit: This is the list of PCB's (shooters that is) I have, I'm sure there'll be overlap:

1943 Kai
Battlantis
Battle Garegga
Chopper I
Game Paradise
Ibara
Last Mission
Mission XX
Ninja Emaki
Omega Fighter Special
Progear
Silk Worm
Sol Divide
Strikers 1945 Part III
Super Space Fortress Macross

Joystick shoot em ups:

Blood Bros
Cabal
Dead Angle
Dynamite Duke
Empire City 1931
Gamshara
GI Joe
Nam 75

Run N Guns:

Chelnov: Atomic Runner
Contra
Demon's World
Desert Assault
Heated Barrel
Outzone
Psychonics-OSCAR
Special Project Y
Super Contra

MOST LIKELY I'm only taking a handful of things, and weirdo shit unless otherwise requested. Here's what I'm thinking off the top of my head:

1943 Kai
Ninja Emaki
Omega Fighter Special
Gamshara
GI Joe

Dudes, I just checked out the Logan Hardware website and watched the Vimeo teaser video. Dr. Boom, you deserve incredible amounts of kudos for this meet.....and it hasn't even begun!!!

I nearly passed out from the selection of vintage arcade titles available!!! This weekend will go down in the record books, no joke!

You should be coming this weekend...:)

Assuming this goes well, this will hopefully be the new home of the CWC for subsequent years, so you'll get a chance to check it out at some point. Or hell, come up when its conveinent and hang out!

It'd be nice if we could muster two good sticks for TSS. If I still had one, I'd bring it. :?

I'm bringing one multiconsole stick and a 360 only 4 button job to show off . I can bring a straight up DC stick if necessary....but the multiconsole = DC too.

The DC stiick that I made has a VMU + VMU reader in it.

I gutted an old Blaze stick for it's innards.
