What ever happened to the planned PSP sequel to Rez??....

There were rumors about a sequel to this game for the PSP, yet nothing seems to have come of it.

I think this is the interview with Tetsuya Mizuguchi where he mentions his wish to make a Rez sequel, but Sega owns the name, so he can't make it a real sequel. I think the rumors might have something to do with what is said in that interview about Rez, PSP, etc.

As far as where the game itself is, I think he's still busy on Ninety-Nine Nights for Xbox360 at the moment. He'll probably finish that up before seriously undertaking the Rez-like game :)


I don't think there was ever as concrete a plan for a Rez sequel as the rumors might lead you to believe. Not the happiest of news for you, maybe. Sorry.
