Thinking of acquiring this compilation

I already own tf3 and tf4 pal on the megadrive, whats the difference between thunder force AC and tf3? and Saturn japan tf4 and my pal tf4?

Is the pack worth buying? I've heard tf AC has extra music levels and bosses over tf3?

AC loses the grittiness and that special something I loved in TF3. There is a bonus level (or two, maybe), but it's nothing special. TF3>>>>>AC
