Almost certainly poo at de-interlacing and scaling... But for the price if it just managed to transcode / sync strip 480p decently you'd be alright.

I don't know this particular one, but I had earlier units from the same manufacturer. Utter bullshit if I might say so. For $38 (or so) Monoprice is offering those HDBoxPro clones which have clearly better quality than this one.
