Another "Hot Gimmick"-esque game, I guess?

Outta curiosity, does anyone have any idea who those two wonky-looking guys at the bottom of the page are supposed to be? I think they also appear on the boxes/posters/etc. for some of the other "Gimmick" games...the heck are they? Or do I not want to know?

You could say that. It's Hot Gimmick Taisen 5. Being a sequel, one would hope it's Gimmick-esque... one that likes the series anyway.

In one of the Taisen (which are actually good mahjong games, much like the Suchie Pai titles: i.e. you can buy "special moves and hands" to get an advantage) you can get Ayin as a secret opponent. Yeah, Ayin, the samurai, from Sengoku Ace

Only the 1st game, unfortunately. Psikyo seemed to have forgot to use its licensing potential after that.

This game was announced quite awhile ago.

Now only if they would release a new SHOOTER. Other then Sengoku ACE 3
