Deathsmiles PAL leaderboard competition

To celebrate the forthcoming release of DoDonPachi Resurrection, CAVE and Rising Star Games have decided to give PAL CAVE fans an opportunity to become 'officially recognised' by CAVE as the best Deathsmiles players in the PAL region.

The top five players on the Deathsmiles PAL leaderboard on 5 November 2011 will each receive a framed certificate signed by CAVE proclaiming them as such.

That's pretty amazing, CRI. Looks like there's been some excellent playing, well done to the top five. Sadly I wasn't able to put much time into this game but I'd have done well to get close to any of those scores. I'll have to take a look at those replays.

Congrats on 1st place CRI and it was thanks to your 309m replay that I was able to improve my 270m score at the end of the week with a better volcano strategy, so cheers

it was a really great competition and i'm satisfied with my final score. (got very close to my theoretical max.)
nice that my replay helped improve scores.

ah.... er... there appears to have been some miscommunication here. We extended the compo until 20 November 2011 to give those who bought Deathsmiles via GonD a chance.

Just checked - same top 5 as before except VIC goes up into third - well done. Tried to improve on my 5th place but it wasn't happening. Lucky it wasn't taken... again.

I asked about it on their facebook and they said they've sent messages to everyone via Xbox Live, so I left my XBL handle on there but I still haven't had a message and that was nearly two weeks ago.

I'd have though they would already have your XBLA account because you're on the leaderboard. Do you have more than one account?

I only use one account (DanielJMachin), so yeah they should have it. Hopefully I'll hear something soon.

Torisu will probably get on this when he returns, but we did send out communications to the top 5. Not sure what happened there as we haven't received any replies (as far as I know, I may be wrong here).

Sorry its taken so long, the process of creating the certificates and sending them back and forth to CAVE proved to take a little longer than expected.

I've got them back now, so if you are any of the top 5 can you please drop me an email with your mailing address and the name you would like to appear on the certificate.
