Seeing this really makes me wonder how they'll handle the fact that DOJ's graphics assets aren't at 1:1 pixel aspect. The scaling that got used on the 360 version is really ugly. Given this is designed to run on a phone, I imagine they'll have to resize the assets themselves rather than after rendering the game visual...

As they arguably did with the 360 ports, not that I´m complaining.
Indeed, I think that is a big part of their trouble.
As much as the hardcore fans want them to port every arcade game and release it yesterday, the general consumers probably don't want more than 1 shoot-em-up per year.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO D:
Is this the part where iOS hipsters cry over a game being exclusive to a mediocre platform instead of being exclusive to their own mediocre platform?
Harping on about how much you dislike games for a platform you don't own won't change the fact that Cave's ios ports are superb portable games and everyone enjoys them. They're not designed to compete with the originals, they're versions adapted to the hardware that can be played for score in their own right, and work very well within the touchscreen format.
As for DOJ, this will be interesting, looking forward to it.
The reason the announcement was delayed is because they were forced to cut back from 2 360 ports to 1 port, so Mushi and Ibara were combined into a Mushi / Ibara double pack to make everybody happy. They need the time to create new cover art before announcing.
Why is everything for Microsoft "exclusiv" ? Blissfull Death has no "exclusiv" marking, is Microsoft really moneyhatting games for Windows Phone7, sounds crazy LOL
Ah well, Cave really likes to stick to Underdog Hardware, are there actually any WP7 SmartPhones available, do people actually buy those things????

I have never seen one. Everyone at my college has iphones, but instead of cave games they play angry birds in class and give me weird looks or ask me what I'm playing. One guy looked up ddpr and said he couldn't believe I would pay that much for an iphone game. /facepalm
