The Zelda one is only boring if you have to restart it, otherwise it's a fairly faithful layout/homage to the original. Plus a cock-shaped maze.Ruldra wrote:How many stages after the balloon level? Because that and the Zelda one are really boring, don't want to play it again unless the end is close to that.Samurai Fox wrote:Cleared the game last night. While I did enjoy it, I was kinda hoping for "NES hard" difficulty. It was a little too easy.

So about that Mario crossover game posted earlier in the thread:

Why is it called the Vic Viper/Warp Rattler? Because the Options trail behind it in a serpent-like fashion, and the iconic front fins are designed to invoke the image of a snake's fangs.

Looks interesting, but I tend to agree that it would have been just as effective if it was done as a flash animation. It falls under what I call the Youtube rule: If you can get 90% of the entertainment value out of a game by watching someone else's playthrough on Youtube, there's not much point in playing it yourself.

I guess you hate adventure games?Vexorg wrote:If you can get 90% of the entertainment value out of a game by watching someone else's playthrough on Youtube, there's not much point in playing it yourself.

I don't hate all adventure games (I like the old-school Lucasarts ones, as well as a few of the Telltale ones) but there aren't a lot of things I find more tedious in video games than spending hours wading through dialog trees.

Not trying to be a dick, but I laughed SO hard when I read that.Estebang wrote:While I won't say that anything in the game is offensive, ripping the head off a child and eating it is not even remotely humorous in any context.

If platformer mashups are your thing the first things that come to mind is Super Mario Fusion Revival, Mushroom Kingdom Fusion and FEGAMAN.
And no Flash involved either.
