I tried to watch this on Netflix the other night, but I fell asleep maybe 20 mins in. Glad to hear it was ok by the end, because to be honest, as hot as Megan Fox is, I wanted to punch her in the face after her first or second line. Man, she is a TERRIBLE actress.

Will try and re-watch it this weekend. The sad thing is my g/f won't watch anything scary so I have to watch all my scary stuff(which is all I watch really) late at night which often leads to half watched movies. At least I didn't get too far into this one, because I hate starting a movie halfway through, even if I've seen the first part; it just doesn't flow right otherwise.

the lines they give her along with her bad acting is what make a lot of the movie hilarious. there's nothing scary about this horror except megans acting fyi. so unless thats too scary for your g/f, she should be alright.

this movie isn't instant on my netflix, is it on yours? otherwise i woulda watched it a while ago

Canadian Netflix, and yes it's instant for us; all we have here is streaming, so it's all instant I guess.

As for the g/f, if there is blood, she's out. If there is screaming or anything like that, she's out. The fact that it is in the horror section on Netflix was enough for her.

i don't recall any screaming. there is quite a bit of teenage boy blood though...i guess count her out then

I might actually watch this again this evening, the missus is going to the opera so won't be home till late. All this talk of the film makes me want to finish it now.

SO I watched it last night. Thanks for the feedback on it, I probably wouldn't have gone back to it otherwise. It did get better and really wasn't that bad, aside the lines they gave Fox; who talks like that? I really hate it when they try and invent cool slang and stuff in teen films, it comes off so pretentious. This film needed nudity though, even her friend was hot. The lesbo scene was nice though

The funny thing is, an actress of Megan Fox's 'caliber' would have been nude in every film she did, topless at the very least, if she had been around in the 80's/90's. Standards have slipped over the years I guess.

Nothing says "relaxing afternoon" quite like watching Tank Girl while eating Gelato. I used to have all 5 original graphic novels, BTW, but I gave them away to a friend for his birthday. I can't decide who did a better job on the illustrations, Hewlett or Wood. Wood is great because he threw this whole anime inspired spin on Tanky's look. I've not seen anything quite like it in all my years on this earth.

I distinctly remember our Commanding Officer's face - streamed with tears but smiling.

"Now, it's all so clear" he whispered, his body racked with cathartic sobs, "Now I know what WAR is all about!...."

He left the British Army after seeing this film. Some say he does voluntary work in Iraq now.

Don't take these reviews, both positive and negative, as your guide. Make your own mind up. Take a risk and make the bold decision to seek out a VHS copy of 'R.O.T.O.R'. All the answers to life's complex questions are hidden in this remarkable piece of celluloid gold. But one must stick at it. This is no 'no-brainer' experience ! Haven't gone through the entire thread but can mention Killer Klowns from outer space and a japanese one based on a manga. It's about a girl who gets her arm chopped off and then replaces it with a machinegun. Incidently think the title was machinegirl or something close...it's pretty bad.
