I remember one time, me and my friend took 30mg oxys, smoked a bowl then proceeded to play EDF for 8 hours straight. One of the best times I've ever had playing video games; only second to playing Timesplitters 2 with the same friend, for 12 hours straight and overheating the playstation 2 twice in the matter of a night.

I would very much like to try CMoon's beer. I am drinking Innis & Gunn rum finish, bloody lovely. Kids just in bed, football on, and maybe even a bit with the old lady if I'm lucky. All the best all.
Sometimes my beer comes out really well (I've got two winners right now), but sometimes...*shrugs* I mean, if you want to try new things you have to be ready to accept failure too. Also, it isn't that hard for beer to get contaminated (I've had three batches do this), and its really, really disappointing, but if you at least know what caused it, it wasn't entirely a waste. Still, an absolutely great hobby with tons of enthusiasts out there, clubs to join, books to read, software and equipment to buy. It's definitely a hobby I'm glad I found when I did, and it's certainly saved me a lot of cash at the liquor shop (but I always bought really fancy, expensive beer.) Basically I can make beer for the same price as Blue Moon or Sam Adams, but in general my beer is better than those.

Just got back from a 2 day brewery tour. Planned it carefully so that I wouldn't have to get behind the wheel of car. Went to Ballast Point, Green Flash, Stone, Port Brewing/Lost Abbey and Iron Fist. Started our adventure with the brewpub Pizza Port. There is no shortage of good beer in San Diego.
