Become a programming dilettante and make a shmup in flash or gamemaker or something.

Also 1CC Bakraid and hopefully Futari.

I got most of the important ones to me in 2011, so I think I'll be more ambitious this time.

[x] DFK Ura 2-ALL with A-Strong.
[ ] DFK Ura 2-ALL with A-Bomb.
[ ] Ketsui Omote 2-ALL, 300m+ score.
[ ] Futari 1.5 Original 440m+ score.
[ ] Pink Sweets 1.01 1cc.
[ ] Strikers 1999 3m+ score.
[ ] Gunbird 2 2-ALL.
[ ] Stop randomly getting distracted by other games.
[ ] Win STGT 2012 with TiH.

I dunno if I'll get some of these, GB2 in particular would need a lot of work, but these should be fun to aim for. :D

[ ] Distract Sapz with other games.

I guess I'd just like to get a little better. I'll go with this:

1CC Mushi Futari 1.5 Original
1CC Crimzon Clover Original
1CC DonPachi

If I can accomplish that much, then I'll think about adding some other stuff, but I'm not going to get ahead of myself.

Clear a game that is actually difficult and not made by Compile.

I did, what? Deathsmiles and MUSHA last year? Gun-Nac and Space Megaforce? Perhaps I should up the ante and actually work on Gradius V and Mars Matrix like I said I would last year.

Also, holy shit! I've been on this forum for exactly a year now. How strange it feels.
Why is it called the Vic Viper/Warp Rattler? Because the Options trail behind it in a serpent-like fashion, and the iconic front fins are designed to invoke the image of a snake's fangs.

2-all DFK 1.5 Omote Strong style and hopefully Bomb(I know Ura's probably not happening)
1cc DFK Black Label with Bomb and Power Styles
1cc some Konami Shmups
Loop MMP Version 1.01
1cc ESPGaluda II
1cc Strania Expert Normal game
1cc Side Vower any difficulties
1-All Pink Sweets Version 1.01
Eschatos Advanced Hard 1cc
Judgement SilverSword Normal and Hard 1cc
1cc Demonic on Gundemonium Recollection and hopefully Gundeadligne

How much of that will probably happen though, probably almost none.

[x] Sexy Parodius Manual ALL, 5.6m
[ ] Raiden DX Training 2-5
[ ] Strikers 1945 II 2-ALL
[ ] R-Type 2.3m
[ ] Gunbird 2 2-ALL
[ ] Dragon Blaze 2-4ish

I'd also like to squeeze in clears for Strikers 99, Gun.Smoke, and Same! Same! Same!, but they might have to wait until next year.

Edit: Totally copying the checklist format.

Got 6 1CC's last year, so I'm hoping to surpass that in 2012.

There are a few I definitely want to knock out, and I'll go from there.

Battle Bakraid
The Embodiment Of Scarlet Devil
Vimana
Batsugun
Espgaluda
Mushihime-sama

-Get my first 1CC ever in any shooter.
-1CC Donpachi (US version) that i have been working on, last stage needing more study. This will be my first 1CC ever, being the first Cave game somehow fits.
-1CC Donpachi (Japan version) wich i have seen via replays that it´s harder.
-1CC Batsugun Special, the first loop seems in reach. That way i can say i have 1CC-ed cave´s first and Toaplan´s last (kinda nonsense but hey  )

I would put a Raizing game here but oh boy, not sure i would be able to accomplish that goal. Specially when i ignore normal modes and always go for advance.

- become able to ignore scoring
- become able to make use of savestate practice without losing memorization of the first stages
- get a better placement in STGT
- start enjoying scoring systems which I didn't enjoy previously
- improve some of my former scores when/if I have the chance/time
- improve my sense of player/enemy/bullet hitboxes
- restart less (often caused by the sense of lost potential score)

I'm not optimistic about any of said goals, though. Have been trying some (if not all of them) for a while.

- Get an X360 and a bunch of games to go with it
- 1cc as many modes of Futari as possible with decent scores
- 140m+ and more in Raiden Fighters Jet (this should've happened weeks ago )
- 1cc the first two Raiden Fighters games with decent scores
- See how far I can get in Dragon Blaze's loop
- Increase my scores in Strikers '99 and Gunbird 2
- Get a not-shit score in Garegga

I´m not very good at the games, but I think these are within my reach.

1CC Raiden Fighers 2.
1CC Raiden Fighters Aces.
1CC ESPGaluda (PS2)
1CC Mushihimesama Futari 1.5 Original.
Reach a Second Loop on Daifukkatsu 1.5, on Bomb Style.
BONUS. Get a Candy Cab and an Ibara PCB. Love it on PS2, but definitely want to try out the original version. Oh and a NTSC-J 360.

I don´t think I am really cut for high scoring. At least not yet.

One of the primary reasons that i dislike playing at home, as opposed to in an arcade.
I find that when your credits' inherent worth increases (as in; you actually have to pay for them) it is a lot easier to milk them for all they're worth.
If a run starts off shitty; play the credit out and experiment. Perhaps you'll discover something amazing that you'd have never thought of before.

1CC Pink Sweets 1.01 with at least a C score
1CC Espgaluda with one hand (after fixing my PS2 setup)
Get 100mil in Ketsui
???

Pink Sweets should keep me busy for a while. I'll probably mess around with ver1.00 for a bit as well (and ideally the PCB if I can save up enough money for one).

Yes, recommend him the hardest game in the series to 1cc on Lunatic.

I think SA and UFO are both harder on Lunatic than EoSD. Plus he's a pretty good player. But I mainly just recommended it so we can both play together (since EoSD is the only Touhou I really play seriously).
