yeah it has the verticle compression because its a perfect arcade port, just like the arcade version did(something to do with using a strange res to get a bit more detail). The Arcade operators were expected to adjust the screen accordingly. The 1 lag is down to the Trigger buttons on the DC pad.The Playstation version isn't the best. It's either the DC or Saturn version. The Ps1 version has many problems ans is nowhere near arcade perfect.
And I just bought a CPS Board with Marvel Super Herors VS Street Fighter.
Im all set.
Again Thanks to everyone for the help.
Reasons I didnt go the extron, I wanted 480i AND p,
I like the 24hz option on the UVC
I didnt want to have to strip sync from my games outputs for the Extrons.
I dont have to make cables.

Will do emphatic.
Happy new year to all!
Can you point out the shortcomings of the ps1 sfcollection version? Apart from the loading time. I can not find any references to what you said before regarding the conversion.
None taken mate, just mostly referring to the first disk with super and st anyway. Because chaining up components to get the desired picture is adventurous, but quite simply madness if you consider either the saturn or ps1 outputs the right signal straight off the bat.
Alpha gold has never been a favourite of mine. In fact, sf collection of sf2, sf2ce, sfhyper, super and st is all I need. Plus you can select cps1, cps2 or arranged music for some of the games which is a nice bonus!
At any rate, you wont be dissapointed with the uvc as long as you feed it 480p.
