Eh, T1 tops out at 1.5Mbps ... which is terrible by today's standards. Even a DSL connection will get you around 5-6Mbps these days. You probably have something better.

We recently upgraded a core switch in our infrastructure, and it's nearly doubled the speeds in our office:

T1 is better than most rural Americans are getting. I know people that can't even get on the internet due to their "in the sticks" location. I thought having a phone line with BB would be good enough, but apparently the prices for "in the sticks" people in the USA is sometimes unbearable.
This industry has become 2 dimensional as it transcended into a 3D world.

Granted, however, it's nowhere near the "absolute best you can have in the US". Just look at the rest of this thread, lots of people in the US are getting far better than 1.5Mbps.

my results are
download=1.04kbps
upload=0.77kbps
I dont know the reason why my speed seems to be slow many of them said that if Cable Internet services share bandwidth with satellite Internet access.
If there are many subscribers using that same bandwidth, it can slow down the connection.
kindly guide me how to solve this problem .
Try checking it out at directly at Speedtest.net, that site you linked to appears to display a noticeably lower speed for me too.
Also, welcome to the board.
Come check out my website, I guess. Random stuff I've worked on over the last two decades.

My internet speed is entirely dependent on a Pug that generates electricity by endlessly running (on a treadmill-like machine) towards a sign dangled in front of his face that reads "Hungry Koreans are chasing after you... there is no afterlife."
