I hate to shatter the dream fellas but that's a body double.
I knew that. A lot of derrieres in films turn out to be body doubles, which is why I avoided Friends With Benefits like the goddamn plague. I mean, if a chick's not a good actress, she should at least show the goods so we can see whatever talent she's gots. It made me appreciate maggie gylenhal a little in spite of the fact she's a butterface and has no acting talent (i.e., she's considered "an actress" because her dad was a movie director) 8)

Based on recommendations I saw the new Mission Impossible flick. Why? Directed by Brad Bird, apparently trying to do a high-energy James Bond film. That said, still utterly forgettable, but at least very self aware. This is still the year where Hollywood didn't happen, but if you're looking for an excuse to get out of the house for a couple hours, Mission Impossible might be your eject button!

Entry price was worth it to see the Hunger Games trailer (not convinced the movie will accomplish anything the books didn't, but it seems like they're sticking pretty close), and the ludicrous G.I.JOE trailer. I mean, clearly, when you're whole unit gets destroyed and Cobra takes over the white house, there IS only one man you can trust...

I watch too many movies.

Watched both the Halloween remakes. Both were ok, but the soundtrack for the first one was way better than the second one. The first one was definitely taking a lot from the score for the original, and they seemed to throw that away in the sequel.

Nice level of gore and brutal violence.

Only thing that kind of irked me was I watched them on Netflix, and when I watched the first one, I was trying to watch the original Halloween, but Netflix fucked up the labeling, so the cover and description is for the original and the actual film is the remake. I realized right away, but watched it anyway.

Stupid Netflix! I've seen this quite a few times on there.

I love that movie, as well as Disturbing Behavior. I have both videos. I think they came out around the same time. They both harken back to the Body Snatchers theme of the mid-to-late 50s drive-in schlock scene, but they were surprisingly well-produced 8)

All I really want in life right now is to look like Tom Hardy. Butttt, just saw Sherlock Holmes 2 with some family. Slow motion is as prevalent as it will ever be in film.

EVERYTHING MUST GO

A drama with Will Ferrell. The guy loses his job and his wife, then he sits on his lawn and drinks beer for the rest of the movie. I was waiting when the dramatic action starts and the movie takes a twist, but that never happens. If you are Will Ferrell fan you have propably watched this allready, others don´t bother. The voyerist scene with Will watching his neighbour in action was nice thought :P.

Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol -

Becomes entertaining after around the 40 minute mark. Very off kilter prior to that, but fun stunts/sequences make it just about worth the price of no-brainer entry. The third one is far superior.

Repo Man -

Surreal movie. I quite liked it.

Starchaser: The Legend of Orin

For the record the poster is a lie. They don't ride horses and it's not in tradition of Snow White but rather the tradition of Star Wars plageurism.

It ruled.

"In the tradition of Snow White and The Dark Crystal"...damn, I didn't even know those two films were cut from the same cloth.

I watched Sword of the Beast, but not a lot to say about it. I like vintage samurai films.

Yeah, Sword of the Beast is pretty good. I wasn't crazy about it when I saw it a few years back, but I have fond memories.

Watched American Werewolf in London which I've been meaning to see for the last 20 years or so. Great stuff.

My favourite horror film since boyhood (when my dad showed me it when I was far too young); such a cool movie, and such an awful sequel.

I just watched Super 8 for the first time. As Goonies is about my favourite film, I did really like it. It lacked some of the energy, anarchy and silliness that makes Goonies my most watched movie, but it certainly ticked a lot of the right boxes for me.

I watched the Rob Zombie remake of Halloween on the big silver screen when it made it's debut back in the day. I noticed that some movie patrons decided to leave within the first ten minutes of the movie...I guessed that they were shocked with the cussing and gore going on. It's understandable. As for me, stayed through the entire duration and even through the ending credits as well.

There's nothing like watching the 1982 remake of "The Thing"...the pacing is quite tight indeed. The real-time puppetry & incredible animatronic props still haven't been outdone either.

Sat down & watched two Japanese horror flicks by the name of "Cold Fish" & "Noriko's Dinner Table".

Cold Fish takes the cake in terms of all-out gore with some of it's victims. You might recognize some of the cameo apperances by famous JAV actresses. Quite easy on the eyes with some of the busty racks shown. The owner of the Amazon Gold fish shop, Murata, sure has good taste when hiring female staff.

I love Ilsa <3 ! Even the crappy Jess Franco version, The Wicked Warden, esp. that last scene (the music for that was totally AWERSOME  ).
