Just stop there is no point anymore, we have been in contact with Microsoft,GUILTY,PEGI,SEIBU/MOSS,PQUBE,TRADEWEST GAMES SAS,JoWooD,Nordic Games and we all got answers, there is nothing more to it these TRADEWEST LTD are nothing but a bunch of incompent douches they refuse to answer any questions show any initiative whatsoever enough is enough from our end.
If by some ridiculous chance it gets released good I believe that everyone with a PAL 360 here would end up picking it up, but as said we earlier we have done our part fuck these guys not worth wasting your time over it.

@Zeron : last chance now...God !
EDit :
I have another phone number : 020 7382 7720 (43 Worship Street - London)
I checked in website for games journalists that PQube and Indigo Pearl are PR Agency for Tradewest Ltd.
In August I had some contact with Pqube guy who told me :"We are still looking into this – we can’t promise anything but as of now, it isn’t a definite no. The Amazon issue is still their issue to update, I do keep sending them reminders". I just informed them that Pqube still appeared as Publisher in amazon.co.uk instead of Tradewest about RFA PAL and that would be nice if they could do anything about RFA PAL release...

Don't mind Paradigm, I've never seen a positive post by him ever. Much like DrTrouserPlank.Zeron wrote:Get out of here TRADEWEST LTD employeeParadigm wrote:Jesus Christ, 14 pages of the same few people nagging and whining over and over...
If you're really that bothered about playing these games, put your money where your mouth is and get yourself a Japanese/US 360. Alternatively, you can play these games right now for free on MAME![]()
Three people pestering this company with emails isn't gonna get the game released any sooner (if at all).![]()
Bitching to developers and publishers hint CAVE and Rising Star Games paid indeed off in the end.
In this case we have done our we have our "duty" we have been searching emailing and what not since late 2009 and the final "breakthrough" was this TRADEWEST Digital, no answer from them on any of their contact adresses or twitter I say fuck them. Good job starting to bitch after everyone has given up on the game you had about 14 pages earlier to do that "applause" this thread in its current state is nothing but a TRADEWEST hate thread
The "play it in MAME" comment is also stupid considering sound emulation for the Fighters games in MAME is still fucked and no one's fixing it, meanwhile all three generations of Cave games across the board get special attention, which is the #1 reason why *I* want to be able to get the port for PAL.

Re: Raiden Fighters Aces Possible Pal Release..
You have a point it seems that with the current development emulating SH3 Cave games and the fact that both the NA and Japan have RFA itll be a while before someone gets around to fixing the MAME versions. How PAL RFA has turned out is a bloody shameBPzeBanshee wrote:The "play it in MAME" comment is also stupid considering sound emulation for the Fighters games in MAME is still fucked and no one's fixing it, meanwhile all three generations of Cave games across the board get special attention, which is the #1 reason why *I* want to be able to get the port for PAL.

I'd have picked up RFA by now if it wasn't so expensive.

Re: Raiden Fighters Aces Possible Pal Release..
I tried emailing tradewest, but the email adress is not valid any more, and they havent updated their websites.
But anguish no more! They are not dead! They have released a farting game for iOS. Oh joy..
I tried emailing them on another adress but it's probably waste of time.
According to internetz, people have been asking Rising Star Games for the rescue - it could be a good choice!

Forget pqube !
Last message they sent to me (begining of November) : "We are not working on RFA in any way.My apologies I could not be of more help and I hope that somebody grabs this title and gives it the support it deserves."
So, now I play RFA JAP but I don't forget RFA PAL !
(Xbox360 Jap + RFA is really a good investment

Re: Raiden Fighters Aces Possible Pal Release..
Well Rising Star Games borked DFK PAL in terms of distribution (people had a hard time finding it in the middle of London, most of Europe missed out from what I've heard and Australia hasn't got it at all), so even if they got hold of the rights I wouldn't be holding my breath for this thing to get a proper release.
That being said I'd be very keen on ordering it over the net if it happened. Hopefully *someone* more competent than Fartgamewest can get hold of the rights and publish it.
In the meantime, I'll just stick to playing it in MAME.

I've seen loads of copies of DDP Resurrection in Leeds and Manchester, in fact every Game and Gamestation that I've been in since release. I hadn't realised there were problems with distribution in certain areas of the country.BPzeBanshee wrote:Well Rising Star Games borked DFK PAL in terms of distribution (people had a hard time finding it in the middle of London, most of Europe missed out from what I've heard and Australia hasn't got it at all), so even if they got hold of the rights I wouldn't be holding my breath for this thing to get a proper release.

Same here in Sunderland and Newcastle. In fact if you live in the North and have access to a branch of Grainger Games then you can pick it up for £20 new.Gmintyfresh wrote:I've seen loads of copies of DDP Resurrection in Leeds and Manchester, in fact every Game and Gamestation that I've been in since release. Don't know how this sold but I understand Deathsmiles PAL shifted a few. There was deal on a few shooters on XBL last week so maybe the folks that matter will stop the arseholery and realise that there are actually a few people, like us, who couldn't give a shite about COD MW3 or Skyrim.

I imagine distribution would've been better in the UK now for sure, but my point still stands. They fucked up once with it, and they messed up in releasing KOF XIII before the release date in Australia, so it's possible they'll do it again especially with a "oh this isn't Cave therefore no one likes it" title.

The point about "borked distribution" in the UK doesn't really stand at the moment, given that the people who've responded to it have done so in order to disagree.

My point was never about "borked distribution in the UK" alone, it was that the chance of publishers screwing this release again is at an all-time high. Rising Star Games is not the perfect saviours for this, as seen by their screwups on release day.E. Randy Dupre wrote:The point about "borked distribution" in the UK doesn't really stand at the moment, given that the people who've responded to it have done so in order to disagree.
Furthermore they're a bit late - the comments I read about the contrary were when it first came out as you can find in the DFK for PAL thread if you looked back a page or so (roughly around the time I posted raging about them screwing Australia over, you can't miss it).

Not to labour this point but I saw copies on release day in my hometown, I distinctly remember because I went out specifically to see if the game made it out - Gamestation.BPzeBanshee wrote:My point was never about "borked distribution in the UK" alone, it was that the chance of publishers screwing this release again is at an all-time high. It was a momentous occasion to see a Dodonpachi game at retail in the UK. I know that one retailer releasing it on time in one city doesn't constitute a perfect release, but these things happen when a company like RSG are brave enough to publish a game other companies wouldn't touch I can forgive them a little slippage getting the game out to all retailers.
Most people I know bought this online, I suspect this is because they assumed that they wouldn't be able to pick this up in the shops!
Let's not forget the great job RSG did in releasing Deathsmiles, I was so impressed about the amount of copies they managed to get out there. Even major supermarket retailers like ASDA had copies.

Re: Raiden Fighters Aces Possible Pal Release..
Exactly, it's hard to know how much distribution these niche titles will have, it saves effort time and often money to just lock in an online order. Even if they are distributed to your area you never know if there will be 20 copies or just 1 (hands up if you actually saw KOFXI in an Aussie retailer?). I know stores in Australia that deliberately didn't order in DeathSmiles, and that did get a local release over here. Most people I know bought this online, I suspect this is because they assumed that they wouldn't be able to pick this up in the shops!

Re: Raiden Fighters Aces Possible Pal Release..
One interesting thing I noted about DDP Resurrection was that it was actually on the shelves at release day . . .in my local Gamestation store, anyway.
With Deathsmiles I was asked if I'd pre-ordered it on the day of release and only got one because they had a spare copy.
Couldn't say if that's significant but I'd like to think that retailers were willing to take a chance on it when Deathsmiles sold moderately well. Having said that the average punter wouldn't know a 2D shmup from a hole in their arse so maybe it's just the die-hard fans who bought it.

Sweden had DDP's in like 2 stores for... one week? Tops.
That's not even mentioning that we got it 3 weeks after the UK.

DTP has acquired the german rights for the game and it's been confirmed (on a german board) that it's really coming.
