a lovely LP. the sample channel on the arcade recordings seems a bit too interpolated compared to actual ingame audio but hey, the arrange side is good fun and having Chaos on a 12" is awesome.
that Bee Storm shock box is Suhweeeeet!

Wow, that Dodonpachi II art is awesome. Easily the best art on any Dodonpachi game imo.

Also, @ that x68000.

I was only considering cover arts on ports, but yeah, I think it has a lot of character. DFK had an ugly cover, DOJ had a pretty cool one, the original DP and DDP looked sleak, but fairly standard. DFK BL does have a nice cover.

Was I that off base by suggesting that? Which one would be your favorite?

Probably the DOJ cock cover and its general associated Inoue art. DFK is too moe.

The Bee Storm art always looked a little bent to me. I've seen better from Chinese artists.

HOORAY FOR SUPER MARIO LAND
Hooray for Chinese knock-offs!

Image

I was at a hobby store to get a Christmas present for my cousin and ended up with an impulse buy for myself. I don't even know if I will keep it, since I already got rid of my model paints and brushes long ago. Maybe I can get away with painting this, just buying 3 colours + ink and one brush.

I now see these are also on eBay.

I'll try to have it done before 2013 rolls over...

I might need more colours though, I also want to add some dirty look to it, as well as some of that heat discolouration and carbon build-up on the exhausts, that might be 5 or 6 colours plus black ink, and a can of spray primer first :(

Store bought my friends. I'm especially happy with the art book, as I consider BN to be Capcom's high point in character design.

Hating on games you haven't played there much? It has the two main gimmicks: weapon copying and the rock-paper-scissors weakness cycle. It's more of a Mega Man game than the 1st Zero was that's for sure. Also, there's a platformer style BN on the Gamecube if your brain can't handle the usual depth of the series.
