Wondermega Model 1 mod

Post by Strider77 »

Has anyone here RGB or region nodded a model 1 wondermega?

The RGB mod is pretty straight forward. The region mod I saw on Gamesx site, but have a few questions about it.
Damn Tim, you know there are quite a few Americans out there who still lives in tents due to this shitty economy, and you're dropping loads on a single game which only last 20 min. Do you think it's fair? How much did you spend this time?

What did you use for an RGB port just out of curiosity? An existing port or did you mount a new port?

I considered converting the modem port or S Video jack. I would use the RF port but it looks to be proprietary. I don't have the wondermega in my possession yet but I'm trying to get my ducks in a row before it is.

Do you know anything about the region mod Fudah?

I used a new one, same port I used on my PCE (Din-8), so I was able to use the same cabling.
the region mod...
no, sorry.

I'm not but it will be modded for RGB otherwise it's junk in my eyes. I'm going to use the modem port.p or swap out the midi port for a plug with a few more pins so it will still function as a midi port yet have extra pins for the RGB.

RGB is a must.
